frecklebombfic had the awesome idea of rating our podfics based on the accessibility for folx who have little or no working knowledge of canon, since so many podficcers are multi-fandom, and I love it! I've definitely recorded podfics without any knowledge of canon apart from the fic itself, as well as some original fic.
